Samsung SmartThings app now supports iOS works with Matter devices
The iPhone and iPad versions of the SmartThings app from tech giant Samsung now support Matter devices. According to MacRumors, Samsung's SmartThings is a smart home platform similar to Apple's HomeKit. Users may now use an iPhone, iPad, or Apple Watch to manage Matter-enabled smart home appliances that are linked to a SmartThings hub thanks to the new application update. Apple devices may now be used to operate Matter accessories that are linked to a SmartThings hub, which was previously only possible with an Android device. According to the study, Matter is a smart home standard that can be included with all of the main smart home platforms from Apple, Samsung, Google, Amazon, and more.
